Second Storey Additions on the Peninsula

A second storey is the most disruptive job a family home can go through. Roof off, tarps up, and the weather doing whatever it likes. The difference between a good experience and a bad one is how quickly the new floor and roof go on — so we plan the sequence carefully and keep the house watertight.

We do all the carpentry ourselves, from standing the new frames and trusses through to hanging the doors upstairs, so the same two people are responsible for the job from start to finish.
